Origins Sense Espresso Machine Care and Cleaning
The espresso making process involves extracting oils out of coffee grinds. Deposits of grinds and oils build up over time, affecting the taste of the coffee and operation of the Espresso Machine.
Purging water through the Group Head and Steam Wand, before & after making each coffee, is the easiest way to keep your
Espresso Machine clean.
Descaling
After continued use, your machine may develop a build-up of mineral deposits and therefore require occasional descaling.
Your machine will automatically prompt you to perform a descale cycle. The machine will come from the factory pre-programmed for use in a hard water area, however if you live in a soft water area, where descale cycles can be less frequent, then you may want to adjust the setting.
