Moroccan Mint Tea

Relax with this calming tea

  • 2 cups loosely packed fresh spearmint leaves (plus a few extra leaves for serving)
  • ¼ cup caster sugar
  • 2 tablespoons gunpowder green tea (available at specialty tea stores)
  • 6 cups boiling water


  1. Place all ingredients into a large teapot and allow to steep for 5 minutes. Do not over-steep or tea may become bitter.
  2. Stir well and strain into serving glasses.
  3. Serve topped with a sprig of mint.
