  • ½ cup caster sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
  • 6 cloves
  • Peel from one whole, small lemon
  • 6 black tea bags
  • 6 cups boiling water
  • 1 ½ cups orange juice, finely strained
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice, finely strained


  1. Place sugar, cinnamon, cloves, lemon rind and tea bags in a large (2 ltr) glass jug.
  2. Pour over boiling water, cover and allow to steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Carefully mix through orange and lemon juices.
  4. Strain into glasses and serve hot.
