For this recipe, you'll need a Sunbeam Multi Zone Air Fryer Oven.
Ingredients:
- 1 x 400-500g thick cut ribeye steak
- 2-3 tbsp olive oil
- Ground black pepper
- 4 mini corn cobs
- Salt and pepper
- 700g White potatoes
- 1 tbsp Cajun spice
Cajun Butter Sauce
- 80g salted butter
- 1 clove of chopped garlic
- ½ tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Cajun spice
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
Serving suggestions - coleslaw, salad leaves/salad, garlic bread, asparagus
Let's make it:
Step 1:
Remove the steak from any packaging and pat with some clean kitchen paper to dry. Drizzle both sides with 1 tbsp of oil and season with some black pepper. Set aside.
Step 2:
Place the 4 corn cobs into a mixing bowl, drizzle with a little oil, add some salt and pepper, then put into one of the baskets in the Multi Zone Air Fryer and cook on Turbo Crisp for 15 minutes at 230°C, turn half way through for even browning.
Step 3:
Whilst these are cooking prepare the potatoes. Peel the potatoes and cut into approx 3cm chunks, rinse thoroughly to remove the starch, drain and then place onto some kitchen paper to dry, pat away any surplus water.
Step 4:
Remove the corn cobs and wrap in some foil. Place these back into the airfryer on the side that you’ve just used to keep warm.
Step 5:
Remove the air flow tray from 1 of the Multi Zone baskets. Add 1 tbsp oil to the drawer along with the Cajun spice. Tip the potatoes into the drawer and toss in the spicy oil until covered.
Set the Multi Zone to the Sync mode.
Step 6
For the potatoes cook on Air Fry for 30 minutes at 200°C, put these into the side opposite the corn.
Step 7
In the other cavity (with the corn at the bottom) you want to place a small roasting tray in the top shelf position. Set this side to Grill with a time of 15 minutes @ 230°C. Press start, you should see that the potatoes are starting to cook.
Step 8
Whilst the potatoes are cooking, prepare the Cajun Butter Sauce. Place the butter, garlic, lemon juice and Cajun spice into a small pan and allow to melt over a low heat, stir well. Continue cooking gently for a further few minutes, before removing from the heat and stirring in the chopped parsley. Set aside.
Step 9
After 15 minutes give the potatoes a good shake/stir, the Multi Zone will alert you to this halfway mark, with an audible beep.
Step 10
You will notice that the adjacent cavity has started to heat the tray, this is perfect and needs just 5 minutes to get piping hot.
Step 11
After the 5 minutes carefully remove the hot tray, add the steak, this should sizzle nicely, place it back into the air fryer for the 10 minute cook time, turning the steak half way through cooking.
Step 12
Once the cook time on both sides is complete remove the steak on the tray, loosely cover with a little foil and allow this to rest for a few minutes.
Step 13
Slice the steak diagonally to give some thick juicy strips, arrange the corn cobs, spicy potatoes and other accompaniments alongside and drizzle with the Cajun butter sauce.
Serve immediately.
