You will need:
- 2 cups frozen potato gems (approx. 20 gems)
- 1 Tbsp water
- Tomato sauce, to serve
Let's make it:
Step 1:
Preheat your Sunbeam Café Style 2-Slice Sandwich Press & Maker until the light turns green.
Step 2:
Place potato gems in a heatproof bowl and microwave for 2 minutes, to defrost.
Step 3:
Use a fork to break up the potato gems. Add 1 tablespoon of water to the potato mixture.
Step 4:
Use a metal spoon to gently spoon the potato mixture onto the Sandwich Maker and then shape into a hash brown size (you can make them any size/shape you like). Don’t worry if some of the pieces don’t glue together perfectly, they will all come together during the grilling process.
Step 5:
Gently lower the top grill down. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until golden and crisp. Serve immediately with tomato sauce.
