For this recipe you will need a feuille guitare, i.e. a sheet of thick foodsafe plastic that makes it easy to work with melted chocolate. Use baking paper if unavailable.
You will need:
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup salted butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3½ cups powdered sugar
- ¼ cup chopped salted peanuts (optional)
- ¼ cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
Let's make it:
Step 1:
Line an 8x8 pan with baking paper or foil and set aside.
Step 2:
Add the peanut butter and salted butter in the Sunbeam Mixmaster® HeatSoft™ Planetary Mixer bowl, attach the scraper beater and fit the Heatsplash™ guard onto the bowl. Turn on
Step 3:
HeatSoft™ and select MELT and gradually increase speed until the mixture becomes smooth. Turn HeatSoft™ off.
Step 4:
Add in salt, vanilla and powdered sugar. Mixture will be thick but soft.
Step 5:
Spread mixture into prepared pan until surface is flat and even.
Step 6:
Sprinkle with chopped peanuts and/or mini chocolate chips. Press toppings gently into fudge (toppings are optional).
Step 7:
