Easy honey BBQ chicken wings made in Sunbeam Pressure Multicooker, sticky, tender and full of flavour, perfect for quick dinners or entertaining.

You will need:

  • 4 Tbs Smokin Texas BBQ rub
  • 3 kg chicken wings
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • ½ cup chicken stock
  • 2 Tbs corn flour
  • 1 Tbs sesame seeds, toasted
  • Fresh coriander

Let's make it:

Step 1:

Coat chicken wings with BBQ rub in a large bowl.

Step 2:

Select BROWN on the Pressure Multicooker then START/STOP, add oil and allow to pre-heat.

Step 3:

Add chicken wings and brown in batches. Press START/STOP. Set wings aside.

Step 4:

Place steaming rack and chicken stock in the crockpot. Add chicken wings on top.

Step 5:

Secure the lid ensuring the steam release valve is in the seal (closed) position. Select POULTRY and set the time for 15 minutes, then START/STOP.

Step 6:

Once the Pressure Multicooker has finished cooking, allow a natural pressure release time of 2 minutes. Carefully release any pressure left inside before opening. Press STOP/START.

Step 7:

Remove chicken wings and set aside.

Step 8:

Add honey to the sauce, press SIMMER and START/STOP. Reduce sauce, stirring occasionally.

Step 9:

Place cornflour into a jug and add ¼ cup of sauce whisking until smooth. Return to crockpot and stir, cook for about 5 or until sauce thickens. Pour over chicken.

Step 10:

Garnish with sesame seeds and fresh coriander.
