You will need:

  • 1 Tbs olive oil
  • 500g beef mince
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbs tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp American mustard
  • 4 short crust pastry sheets
  • 1 puff pastry sheets
  • 1 small white onion, finely chopped
  • 4 cheddar cheese slices
  • 12 sliced pickles

Let's make it:

Step 1:

In a frypan over medium heat, preheat oil, add mince and cook until brown. Set aside.

Step 2:

Make burger sauce; in a bowl mix mayonnaise, tomato sauce and mustard, set aside.

Step 3:

Preheat Sunbeam Pie Magic®.

Step 4:

Using the pastry cutter provided, cut out 4 short crust pastry bases and 4 puff pastry tops. Overlap the base flaps making a pastry shell.

Step 5:

When the green READY light comes on, place the pastry shells in the base, top each pie with mince, 2 tablespoons of burger sauce, onion, cheese, 1 teaspoon extra burger sauce and 3 pickles. Top with puff pastry lid.

Step 6:

Close lid and cook for 12 mins, until golden brown.
