For this recipe, you'll need a Sunbeam Mini Snack Press & Grill and 4 sheets of baking parchment paper roughly 22cm x 18cm.
You will need:
- 50g oats
- 70g plain flour
- 50g light brown soft sugar
- 50g milk chocolate chips
- 80g melted butter
- 4 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp shop bought caramel sauce
Let's make it:
Step 1:
Place the oats, flour, sugar into a mixing bowl.
Step 2:
Stir in the melted butter and vanilla extract.
Step 3:
Pre-heat the Mini Snack Press & Grill. Place a piece of the parchment paper over the bottom plate and spoon a quarter of the mixture, onto the paper.
Step 4:
Scatter over half the chocolate chips.
Step 5:
Drizzle over 1 tbsp of the caramel sauce before topping with another quarter of the mixture.
Step 6:
Cover with a piece of the parchment paper and close the lid. Cook for 4 minutes.
Step 7:
Using the paper either side, remove the bake from the Mini Snack Press & Grill and place onto a wire rack removing the top sheet of paper.
Step 8:
Repeat with the remaining mixture. Heat the remaining 2 tbsp of caramel sauce in a microwave for a few seconds.
Step 9:
Drizzle half the caramel over 1 of the bakes. Take the other bake and using the paper, flip this over on top, to sandwich the bakes together, peel off the top paper. Drizzle with the remaining caramel and leave to fully cool before cutting.
