For this recipe, you'll need a Sunbeam Mini Snack Press & Grill and 4 sheets of baking parchment paper roughly 22cm x 18cm. 

You will need:

  • 100g rolled oats
  • 25g light brown soft sugar
  • 50g butter
  • 40g golden syrup

Let's make it:

Step 1:

Place the oats and sugar into a mixing bowl. 

Step 2:

Melt the butter and syrup, either in a small pan or a microwave Pour the butter mixture over the oats and sugar and mix well. 

Step 3:

Preheat your Mini Snack Press & Grill. 

Step 4:

Open the lid and place a piece of the baking parchment paper over the bottom of the plate, you should have enough to grab each side. 

Step 5:

Place the flapjack mixture onto the paper and spread out over the base. 

Step 6:

Place the remaining paper sheet over the top and close the lid, encasing the flapjack. 

Step 7:

Cook for 4 minutes. Open the lid grab the paper and turn the flapjack over. Close the lid and cook for a further 2 minutes. 

Step 8:

Once cooking time is complete open the lid and remove the hot flapjack using the baking paper at each side. Cut the flapjack in half whilst warm and allow to fully cool before removing the bottom paper.
